Did you know that cold-pressed, unrefined oils are vital to a healthy, anti-ageing diet. Best are coconut oil, palm oil, olive oil, walnut oil, macadamia nut oil, sesame oil, and avocado oil. Avoid refined oils, trans fats, and margarine.
100% Acai

Who can benefit from Acai-100?
Acai-100 differs from most other acai supplements on the market that it is 100% unadultered freeze-dried acai powder. Other products can use other ingredients of lower antioxidant value and/or compromised, heat-processed forms of acai(those are either pink or even sandy in colour; acai should be black-purple). I have been researching acai since 2005 and purchase my raw materials directly from the Amazon region. It is tested rigorously for its antioxidant value and to assure that it is 100% free of any pesticide residues. The benefit to you is more antioxidant power for your money (below graph: test results vs other acai supplements sold in Japan).
What is acai? Acai is a small (diameter 1.5cm) fruit that grows in clusters on a tall (20-30m) palm tree only in the Amazon rainforest. It has been consumed as a staple food by many of the indigenous people of this area for centuries. This is an amazing fact in itself as a fruit is almost never consumed as a staple food in any culture. Most fruits are high in sugar and even natural sugars in high amounts would cause disease when consumed in large amounts daily. However, acai is extremely low in sugars (<0.5%). Moreover, of interest is that these indigenous cultures of the Amazon picked acai, which must be hand-harvested daily from these very tall trees, even though this region has close to 3,000 different fruits to choose from? (Compare that to the fact that our food culture has 200 fruits.) Acai must definitely be something very, very special.
An additional benefit from using acai is that it actually acts to protect the precious Amazon rainforest from deforestation. The Brazilian government recently stated that “in the areas where acai cultivation has increased, there has been a decrease in deforestation.” Why? Well, if the local population can harvest this fruit from those abundant acai palms in the Amazon, it would make sense for them to protect these trees and their natural habitat from destruction (the majority is caused by ranches, requiring more and more land to graze their cattle). Therefore, the locals are empowered by acai cultivation to protect their resources and paid a fair wage for their product (as the picked acai fruit is sold at market daily). Such a trend would also certainly strengthen the drive to reverse global warming! By using an acai product, YOU too automatically become a friend of the Amazon.
